Session 1: Abstract: Expanding revenue opportunities by launching IP networks while maximizing legacy investments is a network operator reality. Family bundles with spending limits across mobile, broadband, and TV. Splitting personal from business charges on one mobile device. Bill shock. Network operators own multiple networks, existing revenue relationships, and unique subscriber information. The ability to monetize these assets has been impacted by convergence of networks, IT, Web, devices, and charging. This session will feature best practices and customer case studies in empowering and retaining subscribers through innovative charging models utilizing online charging, service broker, and network appliance solutions.
Session 2: Abstract: Communications Service Provider revenue mix in the year 2020 drives business decisions today. Subscription revenues are under pressure by increasing data usage on superphone and tablet devices. Download revenues from music, video, games and other premium content are challenged by social communities fueled by third party developers, virtual goods and their emerging subscription models. ‘Cloud Computing’ is changing the nature of access, self-service, and metered usage revenue. Marketing and advertising subsidized services show promise of new revenues. What revenue mix do you have today and will it remain the same in 2020 given these market trends? This session will explore these market trends and its impact on network evolution, charging models, and service delivery investments today including best practice use cases. Led by ORACLE Arturo Pereyra Sr. Director Marketing & Business Development Derek Peterson Product Marketing Director Ken Lee Product Marketing Director *This is a special closed workshop, only for operators and not part of the Billing, Policy& Charging Forum agenda |
